I always enjoy visiting Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park anytime of the year, even during winter! So I was pleasantly surprised to learn recently that the Canadian Ecology Centre and Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park had been working together to create a new groomed Multi-Use Trail through the park this winter.......

The Canoe Guy Story

I spend a lot of time at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park, as many of you already know. In recent years I’ve done mostly day trips to the park. One of the things I enjoy to do there at the end of the day before I head home, is to walk around the campgrounds and campsites. Usually a walk around the Jingwakoki Campground and then over to the Babawasse Campground. I always try to make sure that I end up at the Babawasse Boat Launch around sunset.......
